A helpful critique
Chris, obviously you have a passion for art, but you are not an artist - yet. After viewing your portfolio it is clear that you have much to learn about the fundamentals of design, visual balance, color theory, basic rendering, perspective, chiaroscuro (the play of light and dark), etc. My advice would be to enroll in a college or art school where you can take your passion and develop it into a skill. While you are there, learn from studying the Masters. Until then, you will never realize your full potential. Remember, you'll get out of it what you put into it. Good luck!
