Artist Statement:
I have a sense that I am
manipulating the energy inside
the painting, as opposed to
just painting on a surface. I
have a sense that I am
immersed, not just in the
process, but in the painting
itself. The act of painting
becomes very physical and my
gestures acquire a different
meaning, a different
dimension. I become a magician
waving my wand which is also
my brush.

you know, I was recently in intramuros area, near Mla Bulletin Ofc, and napadaan ako sa isang Art Supplies Store near a school there, and I bought some Acrylic Pain tubes, my first ones, ever. Mars Black, Viridian Geeen, Thallo Blue, Bright Red, Raw Umber, and Lemon Yellow (kasi yun lang meron. Medyo familiar ako sa colors, kasi ka-pangalan din ng sa oil dati. Kaso it will be my first time ever to use them ifever. So would you have a rew suggestions? Any paper will do ba? Is water optional? What's your favorite colors? Ako Vermillion sana, pero wala sila. Kahit White nga wala. Na mukhang kailangan ko din di ba? Kasi nung nag-ooik ako, magastos ako sa hubock paste.
