Artist Statement:
Fiona was brought up in the
New Forest, England and has
been painting and drawing ever
since she could pick up a
brush or pencil as a toddler.
It has always been a hobby but
she has now been painting
professionally for a few
years. She has exhibited in
London at the Menier Gallery,
in Warsaw, Poland and in the
New Forest.
She is passionate about the
sensuality of oils and also
loves the medium of collage.
Her work looks at subjects
from unusual angles or focuses
in close up sometimes to the
point of abstraction. She
often mixes plant seeds into
the paint to add texture and
interest.
