, Gerard, I am very impressed with your bold use of color and texture. There is much to engage the viewer - the complexity and thought behind your work is marvelous. It is refreshing to see abstraction done in a very painterly style. Much luck - loved your work.

I've watched your life and your work evolve over the last 20+ years. You're at your peak. I'm proud to have DiFalco expressions of art in my home. I'm glad we're still in each other's lives. Congratulations on your exhibit in cyber-space.

I don't even know how to express how impressed I am by your artistic works. Your body of works shown here is (not euphamistically) awesome.

After several shots of scotch, I knew this bad boy was destined for greatness beyond hen killing. Slinging my hatchet, with the aid of Poppa (aka Bloody Papa) we set his spirit free and gave an offering to the Violet Falcon. Little did we know his relic potential. GREAT!! Love it.

Dear Gerard,I was in Covinton, Kentucky, on business yesterday and saw your Relics at the Visions IX Show at the Cathedral Foundation. They were the best contemporary examples of Spiritual Art in the exhibit. Bravo, DiFalco, Bravo!!!A.D. Dianna

Happy Birthday Jerry....great stuff!

Happy birthday, Gerard! I particularly was moved by what I could see of the AIDS and the Art Golf installations. Exploring your site gave me a glimpse into your world, a nice change from my world, immersed as I am at the moment in the creation of the 14th Annual Witches' Ball (Denver). I suppose the Witches' Ball could be viewed as a gigantic annual performance piece for 800 to 900 people? (www.thelivinggoddess.com) Blessings, Jackie

Gerald, Thank you for the opportunity to see your wonderful body of work. I so enjoyed them all! I am Lou Gagliardi's daughter, the one who had Leukemia as a child (& who had a spiritual experience during that time). My Grandmom Rose sooo loved your dad. Now I know where my girls get their artistic genes! (I have three darling girls). May God bless you, your loved ones and your work.I will keep you in my prayers.
Marc Gagliardi
Happy Birthday Gerard!!I am Lou's eldest son. Your Aunt Rose was my beloved Grandmom. I remember your Father(Uncle Hap) with great feelings of fondness and joy---and what a trumpet player!!I don't recall ever meeting you but I am so proud of all of your beautiful art works! You are truly a very gifted, talented and Blessed man.Take care and God Bless.

Happy Celebration of your life Comrade Sleaze! Your paintings reflect the depth and lushness of your inner life! You have always screamed your inner truth, embraced the sacreligious and the sacred, and relished the perverse absurd nature of life. I have loved it in you and delight in its presence in your art.Dr. Judy Pierson

Well, I'm a little late to wish you a happy birthday, but I am glad to have visited. There are so many works here I never saw before. To me they seem even better than the ones I had seen a few years back, though I'm still a great fan of your gold series. Best wishes for the coming year!!

Gerard, Your installations (pure sculpture swimming in seas of shadows, light, and color) break the genius boundaries; your art I.Q. is off the chart. I saw your AIDS installation at Nexus Foundation for Today's Art in 1985; you were the first artist to use the RED RIBBON to symbolize AIDS Awareness over twenty-years ago. I still talk about your miniature Art Golf course (related to the art world's folly and done in 1987). I wish to speak to you via phone about your most recent sculptures in the installation, RELICS FROM MY MOTHERS FULL MOON GARDEN; please, e-mail me at the address I used when I signed your Guestbook. Keep creating! Judith Stafford-Wells, San Francisco.

DiFalco's work reveals a truly unique artist who has in a very personal way expressed his life, soul, spirituality, extreme pain, and kind heart through beautiful complex expressions that get more interesting and penetrating every time I view them. DiFalco's body of work reflects an outsider's struggle and growth through America's 60s,70s,80s,90s and today. However, most important from my point of view, what sets this work apart is it's mystery or eternalness ....almost an evasion of time and place.
