hi matthew thanks for your review i think you could be right about brushing up on techniqe and it may be something i will follow up in the future. I find at the moment that i have an inner conflict between doing a painting that is as beautiful as your work and capturing an emotional feel but i am enjoying learning all the time.Anyway i looked at your work and belive me when i say this but i have never seen such realistic work as yours in all my time as an artist.The One thing i am interested in at the moment is capturing realistic lighting and looking at your work is inspirational.maybe us British artists lag behind everone else out there or maybe i just dont get out much. I especially like brooklin morning which when i first saw it i could not belive it was a painting at first i also like the green couch which reminds me of a painting i did about five years ago.Matthew i think your work is one of the best work i have ever seen and i think you should seriously exhibit here in the uk as most
