Artist Statement:
As you can see on my website:
www.johndahlsen.com
I make my art from
found objects, mainly
plastics, sometimes driftwood
and rubber, which I find on
the beaches of the eastern
Australian seaboard.
My recent work has resulted in
assemblage wall works,
sculpture, installations,
photography and public art
projects.
The work has an equally strong
environmental and purely
aesthetic concern and is a
direct reflection of
contemporary society.
I show through my work the
value of beauty, the need for
environmental awareness and
the amazing capacity we all
have to experience deep shifts
in our perception....

Dear John DahIsenbarsciglič - www.exibart.comflorence italy 19-luglio 2002 -la ringrazio di aver risposto alla mia e-mail - I am around infortunately from when I had 11 years that I paint and,totoday sonalmost forty year of hard job-at times health unfortunately abandons also me thanks color pigments that I use.Never a honest gallerista that is wanted to interest in my painted formed by cm.40x40 thin af a maximum of mtl.5xes mt.l 2 my painted pittuscultura and spatolata,viene regularly purchased oggi,da collectors to maximum 6.000 euro european to the painting,e of it happy son.But would not it be more correct than a galeria,se it occupied with sincere seriousness of it ? It would profit sure of it from both the parts. If the addressof the center send me and to who toregister the posta,le dend a packet whit at center sends me andto register the posta,le send a packet whit at least the photos and twenty year-old curriculum to today.Thanking her/ it anticipatamente,la regard.
