Artist Statement:
"There is passion behind every
form of art", said Franz Kafka
to his friend Gustav Janouch.
Art - painting, music, and
literature - has been my
vocation since I have come to
know myself.
My painting, which today is my
foremost occupation, is
apparently and inevitably
inseminated by the two other
arts...

What a delightful experience, a multidisciplinary one, indeed... it's definitely an incredible combination of intellect and emotion, of spirit and matter, exhibiting curiosity, authentic interest in people's faces and in what's going on inside them...

Ruth
I was really impressed by your passion in color and form, how many pains are needed for arrive to those images?? You talk about Franz Kafka... Picasso speaks in your place.... You make me meet with my very closer intellectual fathers... thank you.

Rosana Smerling
I was really impressed by your works.... just a great soul can put all the passion I could see in your colour and your forms. A fantastic intellectual exercise. Thanks

Your self-portraits: have loved the fine arts all my life. Even though I studied English Literature in university 30 years ago, I am now working on a Ph.D. in 19th and 20th C. art - at home. The credentials are in my heart. I adore the Matisse-like expressive color and the fascinating variety of styles in your self-portraits. Excellent.

I appreciated your statement. How did you come to know yourself? Self portraits show divided nature, blurred image (transition?) (both hard expressions) the last weighed down and dejected, but united. I like the family composition, appreciate It's not the sea. Nice colors in model and artist. Dale
