karen pike is a los angeles
based artist Education Los
Angeles County High School For
The Arts University of
Arizona, bachlers in fine arts
Karen Pike is a uniquely
talented rising star on the
art scene. She has created
many pieces during her career
and the art displayed here is
a culmination of her lifetime
of painting. It includes an
eclectic mix of the artists'
favorite pieces. After
graduating from University
Arizona with a bachelors
degree in fine arts, Her work
is expressive but loose with
bold brush strokes and lots of
movement, her art really
moves! There's the presence of
duality in a lot of her
paintings and multiple stories
in her pictures which inspires
each collector seasoned or
aspiring personal
interpretation with each of
her pieces. However, each
piece commands strength and
stability by holding that
delicate stroke of structure
by the tip of her brush and
her use of strong vibrant
colors.
She has been featured at many
art shows, festivals,
galleries and exhibitions in
Laguna,San Degio, New York,
throughout the Southwest and
as far away as Japan ...

Wonderful work for a young old soul. I'm really engaged by 'mi admore,' but all of you musical pieces are great. They are reminiscent to me of street musicians I meet in San Francisco in 1980. They also have a soul that reminds me of the spirit of New Orleans trying so hard to return to the vestiges of its musical heritage. Best wishes as you continue you journey.
