April 23, 2006-- Hi, Luise, We met at SOHO. I am the guy that builds planes and worked for the Defense Department as a photographer. I just went through some of your work; I am very impressed. Hope to see you again some day, maybe for coffee. Jim Perez

Luise,
I am an art major searching for inspiration on the internet, and I found it in your work. I especially love the layered effects you create with the paint that give your work such depth (the ghost-like quality of the pieces with multiple faces), as well as the bright and large range of color you use (as in the Erotic Dream paintings). I used to be a graphic designer but now I'm trying to rid myself of the rules and structure I learned in creating art--I want to communicate deep emotions from my soul, as you do. But although I long to do this, I censor myself, as I worry about the validity and societal perceptions of creating in this way. If you have any suggestions for me, please let me know. It does help to simply look at work like yours, which beautifully communicates in a sublime and inexplainable way. Thank you for the inspiration and take care.
Sincerely,
Betty

I love the simplicity of Solitaire...I think melancholie will be magnificent! I can't say anything that comes close to describing how your work inspires me...

May 30, 2006-Dear Luise, Your paintings are truly beautiful. My co-workers and I have been combing through thousands of paintings in the hopes of finding talented artists to feature on our new search engine. My wife is an artist and she knows very well the challenges of gaining good exposure. Our hope is that our websites will grant artists like you a bit of free publicity. We are very selective about the images and artists we pick. Kim Turos, who is a prominent California artist, is helping us in our search. In addition to showing three of your images, I would like to provide viewers with an artist's statement or biography.I hope you decide to join us. We would love to show your work. Yours, Dave Magnuson

26 Mar 2006 - Dear Luise, My comment (and Marcello agrees with me) is that among your art works it is quite impossible to make a choice, because each one is so meaningful, and it touches so deeply one's sensitivity. We do love your creations!

Your works are an inspiration! More, give us more! Thank you for sharing your talent with us. You give us a glimpse of your core with a little paint and canvas. Amazing.

After observing the colorful paintings, one can only imagine what life could be without art. Thanks a lot Luise for giving the world the opportunity to feel life as intense as your colors are. The subject, the dimension, the contrasts, all unite to make each piece as original as you are as painter. I have to say one last thing. They say the power a pen can provide to a writer is much effective than what a weapon can provide to a fighter, you definetely know how to use that power. Thanks again for posting your works to the world and I hope your imagination, creativity and passion for art never decline, nor fade.Alejandro Cano

Hi Luise,I'm glad to see your web site is up and running. I love your paintings as always. I wish you had some of your older works on the site too. Why aren't any of your paintings for sale? My favorite one is Teas Hex. See you soon. Love Gypsy

Helloooooo! Your favorite artist-in-training is here! How art thou doing? I saw your new paintings and I must say that they are all prettiful. I can't paint, all I can work with is the pen, pencil, and pastel. My favorite of yours is DeepI love sunsets.Paint a wolf!!!Paint a wolf!!!Paint a wolf!!!

Luise, I like your stuff alot! I think my favorite was Teas Hex. It reminded me of walk I took in the woods when I was young, but I couldn't tell what season it was. The work has warmth yet the tones are quite cool. There is a sad happiness about it much like Leonard Cohen's Halleluia. I like it very much, even if I spelled Leonard's song incorrectly. Take care CHAD. . . .

These paintings strike one inside... and outside. The paintings ask you to speak to them... they are alive with energy... but from where... within the painting... but also from you the viewer. An aesthetic is built in... but it calls forth more as you discover the color and possibly more the forms, the subtleties of communication... not intellectual... but broader than any description... where words and forms have more than one meaning... nice work Luise...

Mit Deinen Farben und Formen, mit Deinen Gesichtern, Körpern und Landschaften, entführst Du uns in eine andere Welt. In Deine Welt voller Phantasie. I do not have a favorite when it comes to your paintings, they all pull at different strings/emotions when you look at them. They are all very deep and you can see you put your soul into them when you paint. :)Mike

I am always at awe at the talent that one individual can posess, but more than that how the heart, soul, and mind can be put on canvass, in words, by sculptures, through compositions, amazing. I hope that your being can find what it needs through all the beautiful and spiritual art that is being potrayed by your most private and emotional feelings. I am partial to My house Your housebecause of memories. A fan for life Gerda

Hi Luise, just seen your website & I think it is fabulous aspecially the abstract works .I will have to try and paint from the core as you call it,most of my work is traditional and I suppose rather staid.I understand you are hoping to get some prices on your work soon. Here in the UK the weather is often against us for working outdoors but when it is warmer it is most pleasant aspecially in places like Cumbria in the lake district and of course Scotland.May I wish you every success with your web site and happy painting, Billy Wells West Yorkshire UK

My favorites out of the collection are: Kashmir & Desert Sherbet are calming to me. My House Your House reminds me of the living in San Francisco. It is such a beautiful environment there. Tight & Tight 111 are vibrant! Love the color! Silent Echoes reminds me of the 911 tragedy. The twin towers in the background, The American Flag waving, and the imagery of souls lost. All are Beautiful!!!

Dear Luise, Your art work is fabulous, You paint/draw beautiful works of art. It's difficult to pick one. I love them all. I'm anxiously awaiting Your next efforts. You are a gifted artist, reaching for the stars. Anton.

Beautiful! I am artist also, currently enjoying pencil/watercolor/ink drawing, and textile/woodblock printing. I work a lot with synchronicity as a concept, that we are all telepathically linked as a piece of the Universal mind, and that there is enough to go around, when we listen to our heart/soul and express that for the world to see itself in. It was good to see your work, good luck, and keep it fresh!Cheers, Lisa H.

Hello , meine Kuenstler Freundin,Just had another look at Your site and it always exites me!I wish I had more room for painting, Before I moved house I had plenty of space where I could leave my easel up when I was using oils or acrylics, but now it is more difficult. Anyway, I continue with watercolour as its not as messy. Hope You are still busy painting. I've had a quiet week this week, so I'll have to get going again. All good wishes. Billy ;-))

Antoine Bely Dagbo
Antoine Bely Dagbo, Los Angeles, Californie.
Antoine Bely Dagbo
Dear Mrs. Andersen: What is there to say about your fantastic paintings, of surnatural touch? Are they from a dream-like state or present-day reality? Whether knowledgeable or not, I think you are offering to the world a true and correct canvas, as did so well Victor Hugo in «Les Misérables», thus opening for us a new window on our own human condition. In summing up one’s life, man is more miserable than happier. You understood that, after all, a person without dreams is a dead person and a person who dreams continuously without actions is also an unhappy person. Throughout your work, your message has been the following: “To be happier, one must free oneself from the Look of the others”. You master the thoughts behind your work and the brush to such a degree that we are compelled to call you a True Master. Antoine Bely Dagbo, Los Angeles, California.

My emotions are stirred when I view your art. I can not find the words to describe your talent with justice. But what I enjoy most is you, THE ARTIST. I love My house your house, it reminds me of home. But most of all your floral arangements. I feel that your art comes truely from the heart. Danke schon, Mange tak, Thank you. Lisa :)

I didn't write down the names before I left the site! Thank You for being in the world...

Dear Luise Wonderful, Your paintings! Thank You for Your work! Dreams that are paintings, paintings that are dreams. May we all keep this vision, seeing reality as a dream. DR.CARLO M. CERRONI
Hi, LuiseYour creations are so innovative and full of sense and meaningful. Now I'm not speaking of colours or shapes, I say that globally Your newest art works appear something new. You know how difficult it is for a painter to make something pretty new. Almost everything has been already proposed, but Your creations appear to be like carved in the canvas. Three- are dimension You manage with Your art and other two, with Your capability : sense and time. Your art works have a magnificent perspective (due to a sage use of colours) but it seems that the perspective involves the fourth dimension The time which is passing. (Duree De Ma Vie painting)

I Have Seen Your Last Progress And I Think That The Deep Red Insertions Give The Creation Something Organic And Make It Live. Exactly, I Can See Not A Composition Of Shapes And Colours But A Live Creature Turning Around. Furthermore The Green And The Grey Around The Creature Give Me The Impression Of A Jungle Or A Forest Embiance. ...To Be Able To Follow You Creating I Can See Not Only A Marvellous Art Work But The Whole Process The Creation Being Born And Growing And Evolving.
RAINER & KATE
Spontane Reaktion Auf DUREE DE MA VIE Bild....Das Bild Gibt Mir Einen Eindruck Von Gefahr, Von Verletzung, Von Labyrinthischem Gefangensein. ... Menschen, Die In Einem Undurchsichtigen Djungel Gefangen Sind, Sich Zusammendraengen Und Trotzdem Isoliert Sind, Die In Diesem Chaos Ihre Verletzungen Bekommen Haben, Sogar Verstuemmelt Worden Sind, Und Nun Entsprechend Hoffnungslos In Die Zukunft Schauen. Vor Ihr Ist Der Blick Ergeben Bis Aengstlich. Ein Vogel Unter Ihnen Ist Auch Nicht Frei, Er Wird Gehalten Und Klebt Fest. Was Die Schaufel Der Vergangenheit Aufgeruehrt Hat, Ist Immer Noch Als Blutspur Im Hinterkopf. Die Einstige Sinnlichkeit Ist Als Erinnerung Noch Da, Aber Eher Als Muessiges Anhaengsel, Von Skelettartigen Formen Abgetrennt.
RAINER
Personal View /Interpretation To DUREE DE MA VIE .... Impression Of Danger, Of Wounds And Scars, Of Labyrinthic Imprisonment. People That Are Caught In An Intransparent Jungle, Crowding Together And Yet Being Isolated. They Got Their Wounds In This Chaos And Are Disillusioned. All Of Them? There Is Hope In One Of Them: She Casts A Pious Look (Up To The Herafter?). Surrender To The Force Of Nature, To Substance, To 'the Substance'. Her Devotional Look Isn't Diverted By Fear Or Panic Around Her, That Wants Closeness To Her Though, Yet Is Caught In Its Own Inescapable State Of Mind. The Bird Below Isn't Free Either, It is Stuck Would Like To Fly, But It Is Unable To Lift Its Wings. The Shovel Hasn't Dug Up Everybody's Past. In One Life It May To A Free Mind. Skeletons, Flesh, Streaks Of Blood, Are The Truth Of Nature For The Open Mind Of Freedom, And Are The Sccare Of The Ones Who Divert Themselves From It...... This Time I hadn't looked At The Painting Again..I Just Saw My Memory Of It And Then Came To Different Conclusions. You see: Our Truth Isn't The Same One

March, 2007- LAST TOUCH- Photography- Dear Luise, OK, so I am impressed. But not because this is a great work of art (good though). It is because I was a photo journalist for too many years. The point is, that you saw an unusual picture which showed the emotion of the artist and took the picture (sidewinder?). It could have been better using a telephoto lens to just get the painting and artist, in other words, to crop it in the camera. Yes, I am aware of this special aura of the artist (looks like he is praying to- or communicating with the girl in the painting). Incredible.

Sept 26,2006-Some question about your career as a artist. Dear Ms Luise Andersen, I am a student in Grade12 Art in Canada, right now I am working on a artist research assignment which is realate to my own theme Freedom and Dream. And you, in my opinion, has a very good representation on this two themes. To travel and work around world has been my dream for a long time, and in your artworks I saw the spirite that I aspire after. If you dont mind, would you please tell me how do you feel as a artist in your life, and what I am more curious is about traveling as a artist....

Oct.17,2006- 'Still Untitled' Oct.16 2006-I am admiring the pic you sent me; I can notice an excellent balance of colors and a very good contrast among the red/purple and the apricot/orange. The final effect is pleasant indeed and my first comment is that it is one of your masterpieces. Such as all other paintings I have seen it is clear your style and your sage use of light, colors and hues. I believe it could be considered a finished masterpiece. It is possible to explore shapes and colors, always discovering new contents and different emotions. Another great creation.

Oct.29,2006-Alaska- Digital Flame Series- Dear Luise, I want to complement you on the artwork you made just from pictures taken of a candle in a glass. And taken with a Sidekick2 (I had to do some research to find out what a Sidekick2 was. A cell phone?). You did what I have been taught and tried to teach young photo journalists, that you have to BE THERE with your camera ready to shoot when you see something picture-worthy. (I have found this to be true in nature photography especially) Then you were able to make a work of art(look like a lake fantasy with buildings and foliage)from shots of a candle in a glass.(With Evans help. I would much rather have my camera with me all the time , but a digital camera doesn't work too good at cold temperatures).

Nov. 29, 2006- Fractions Of a Moment- Clarity..and sadness..obviously sensual.. Nov. 30, 2006- Your opinions have been informative, and in a way, supportive. To say you are an interesting person would be an understatement and most assuredly an injustice. Anyway, it has been a pleasure. I appreciate your time and the dialogue. I live in Boston and I feel that it is far more difficult to have artists here talk about art, especially their own. I wish you well with your work, which looks quite impressive. Now that I have made your acquaintance, I may trouble you in the future for your opinion and thoughts. Regards, greg

Feb.17,2007-'Torment' Title In Beginning Process ..'- At a first glance I feel, that the title sounds perfect. March 7, 2007- Re. 'Exiting Discovery For Me' Drawing on Black-- Dear Luise, I got real exited about one of your latest drawings of a girl: Exiting Discovery For Me'. Those white lines on black background. She would make a fabulous Pele. (Pele is the goddess of fire and volcanoes in Hawaii) I took atual pictures of flowing lava (temp 2000?) in Hawaii and have used several as backgrounds in my portfolio, but don't have 'Pele'. The problem is that this drawing is not mine. It is yours. If you agree, I would work it out and send it to you by e-mail, with nobody else seing it. Maybe you would get as exited about it as I am. That hot rock is the real thing..I did have to dodge several hot cracks and got warm feet..More fun! Prince

March l5,2007- Re.- Guestbook entry- Thank you for your reply, Luise. I would have to say that I enjoyed your 'Mignon Series', and just your paintings in general. It is hard to pick one individual work so I picked a few of them: Enter Black Mirror', Painting Acrylic 2006; 'Fractions Of A Moment, Painting Acrylic 2006; 'Melancholie', Painting Acrylic 2006; 'Silent Echoes', Painting Acrylic 2004; 'Zaunkoenig Duo', Mixed Media, 1996; 'Serendipity', Painting Acrylic 2000; 'Seventh Sense' right side view, Painting Acrylic 2000; 'Genesis No One', Painting Acrylic 2005. Also I have a school project that involves research of an artist of interest. I would like to learn more about you and your work. And if it is not too much to ask, I was curious if you could answer a few questions that I have about you and your work for my class ? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Patrick Meers, University of Illinois at Chicago, Art Student.

MARZIART INTERNATIONAL GALLERY
March 25,2007- Exhibition Hamburg, Germany ?--Dear Luise Andersen, I saw your works in the Internet and I would like to show them in my gallery. I have opened the gallery in June 2003 in the center of Hamburg/Germany and my idea works as I imagined. It is a meeting place for artists to get international contacts and to sell their works. I'm looking for a great spectrum of artists on a high level, so 5 painters/photographers and sculptors are exhibiting every month. Cause I'm living as an artist in Hamburg too, I know the art-scene and invite the people from other galleries, collectors and other artists. Another promotion about the openings are in the newspapers, the event-guide of the city and in a flyer, displayed in the museum of Hamburg. For further informations, about the location, schedule, etc., please look at the gallery website. If you would like to exhibit in July, August or in a later month, let me know. Best Regards, Marion Zimmermann

Hi, I just wanted to leave you a message in your Guestbook, since I read that no one has or does. I enjoyed the art, the only one I saw was merci, and the reason I clicked on it was that i thought that it was the photo of the artist. Since the pic is of an older woman, and so am I, I was interested in her art. However, after clicking on the link, I realized that it was your art, and she was not the artist. Okay. Very good. Aug. 28, 2007- Latest works- I liked as usual your latest downloads, and wonder why you don't get crazy with all those people in your head. But I have my own people. How can you make such great works of art when you are depressed. Have a good 28th. Prince

Sept. 3, 2007- SATIN AND SWORD Update 9/2/2007- your latest masterpiece is.. marvellous. You are growing so fast in quality that it seems unbelievable.Your style is more and more sophisticated, the color usage is posh and the shapes are..irresistible. You are in habit to my appreciations, but now you are overtaking yourself. I am proud to be your fan. Carlo.

Feb.3,2008- Art Collection- ..fantastic, Wow---All the different moods. You have really felt them strongly. I am speechless. Nobody paints like you, no wonder international galleries want your art!!! It looks like from the core comes 'stuff' not only the subconsciousness but also from other lifes we have been through-- and from the spirit world etc.etc.-- so the less we control, the more will come up--and then paint it out like you do-- has to be done, because you FEEL the finished result. And the finished result, is masterly painted ! Karin
cassandra

I just love that three of your beauties are within 2 feet of my eyeballs...and when I turn my head around, fleur.. is 8 feet away! I feel very lucky that I get to personally partake in the majic. Morning Whisper takes me down that foggy, mysterious path that seems to be calling me home...I am strangely familiar with the area.

March 28,2008- Untitled completed- bicycle impact- hi, luise, your latest looks like a bicycle ran into a Mondrian, and i mean that in a good way. your graphic skills are immense. r.
LISA
March 28,2008- Hola, Luise, Your works are very lyrical, very emotional and I like the concept of the faces/heads intertwined with landscapes. Before I got into this style I painted faces, heads, masks for about 8 years, later as I got more into landscape, cartography, etc. I looked at my old works and saw that the faces embodied landscapes, in fact. Saludos, Lisa

Dear Luise,
I have been approached by Anwar to represent me to a larger market overseas. I was wondering what kind of experience you have had working with him. What expenses have you encountered. Any information would be helpful before I make a decision to work with him.

Luise, Thank you so much for your kind words about my latest adventures in fire and glass. I checked out some of your glass and enamels and I love the poppies (enamel) and the glass work that was a work in progress, cooling from all sides (forget the title at the moment, but it's the second one on the page of glass). Thanks again! Irene

Your new oil excites me immensely. Reason? I've watched you paint for years now, watched your creations evolve. Held my breath as you passed one stage to the next...this is one of those. I want to own it RIGHT NOW. Would that I could wrest it from the great artists grasp...
I just have to hang my head and trust the master... Love, Always
