Leo, New Paintings My view..WOW. mega imagination impressive, and combining, detailed strokes in emphasizing the wave of (which I particularly like is (After the Rain)....and Tracks of my Fears)good name for it. The colors in after the rain, have the darker brush strokes indicating environmental changes. These two pictures I really like, the Resurrection is very good as well and what I see is like a cross. From the Core is exceptional, good color choices...Hazed and Refused with mixed media is a painting that zaps my breathe and takes me right into it. Leo, The painting “Cross Roads” what moves me about this painting is its color, its cheerfulness, the balance of its colors, the way you hint through words at things that are much deeper than words, the way the painting tells a message almost in code, the humorous distance (get it?) between the earth-shattering meaning of living a good/divine life and the mundane street sign mentioning Oakland (my wife and I lived in Berkeley for almost a decade) and, lastly, that the message of the verses talks about living a simple life while the painting itself communicates through simplicity.
