Artist Statement:
I create realistic and
abstract paintings in
watercolor and mixed media
from my photographs and
imagination. I use
photographs,plexiglass,paint,gl
itter,razor blades,jewels and
other substances I find
appropriate. My work is
colorful,bold,three-dimensional
,political,thought-provoking,pr
ogressive and experimental. I
try to convey a mood or
feeling through my use of
color,line,space,form,texture,
shape and materials. I enjoy
interacting with the work and
feel it is complete when the
viewer can participate in this
interaction. This is why I
paint....
