Beste Lobie Cognac,graag wil ik je hierbij laten weten dat ik met veel plezier je werk heb bekeken, dat mij sterk deed denken aan het werk van de in Nederland wonende kunstenares van Surinaamse afkomst: Iléne Themen, met wiens werk ik sterk vertrouwd ben.Je werk verdient het om zeker eens 3dimensionaal te komen bekijken. Dat ga ik proberen vanuit Paramaribo, dus waarschijnlijk zullen wij elkaar eens ontmoeten om over je werk te praten en de beeldende kunst in Suriname, voor nu vanuit Paramaribo de hartelijke groeten,Myra WinterPs ik heb de afgelopen 5 jaren in Amsterdam Galerie Nola Hatterman gerund. In 1999 zijn wij begonnen met het jaarlijks presenteren van kunstenaars verbonden aan het Nola Hatterman Instituut, in 1999 Rinaldo Klas, vervolgends George Struikelblok, Marcel Pinas, Wilgo Vijfhoven en vorig jaar Kurt Nahar, wellicht zijn deze kunstenaars bij jou bekend.
