Artist Statement:
LOIS MOORE. An award winning,
innovative and versatile
artist with a talent in many
mediums is now immersed full
time as and Encaustic artist
and teacher.. Moving to
Victoria, B.C. five years ago
she pursued her dream of being
a fulltime artist. Her thirst
for knowlege combined with her
curious nature for
experimenting has expanded her
creativiy and resulted in some
unusual art lines, and the
latest being "Encaustic." To
increase her knowledge she
took her Encautic training in
the U.S. and has never looked
back. Lois shows and sells her
work in galleries in Canada
and teaches Encaustic courses
in her studio in Brentwood
Bay. B.C....
