Maia Peters was born in
Lincoln, Nebraska and was then
interested in ceramics, all
kinds of needlework and in
writing poetry. She attended
Nebraska Wesleyan, the
University of Nebraska,
Georgia State, and Cal State
Fullerton.
Presently, Maia lives in San
Dimas, CA. She has been doing

Beautifully done...A joy to view Your art-collection on this global website. All Your work I like.. Each so different. But-- there are several works, that I was specially drawn to..'Dancers In Yellow'.. You chose such great color-combination,, greys and yellows..whites... The composition I like! 'Party, Party... ' put me right t h e r e..the mood- people dancing..talking.. the pianist-- 'Candle Ceremony'--To me very contemporary.. I like the blue hues in between..surprises-- and invites to look more ! 'Windowbox' Just love the window pulled up.. connects inside with the outside.. even though You do not see --the inside. The bricks/rocks..show so well. Pots done great! And to make it all perfect.... The beautifully painted flowers.. loose.. colorful.. Triggers inside happy feeling..and in Watercolor... GREAT work, Maia. Now I can view.. whenever I please.. no gallery hours . Thank You and Good Luck!
