Marcia,Thanks for your comments on my work. While I’m not a painter and can’t critique the technical aspects of your art – I can say which of the works that strike me: “More Flowers” has a comfortable feeling about it, there’s something about “Kiss” that is moving, and still – like intimancy. I like “News” for it reminds me of my father as I remember him during childhood. “Women,” “Orgasm,” and “People” all capture my imagination. I muse over how “People” reflects my own view of the subject. I live removed from people in general, living in a rural farm area, and when I consider the world’s inhabitants, I only have a semitransparent view of them and this concept is present in the reflection of your ‘people…’ Finally, I am impressed with “House” – it is of the essence of my own environment in nature’s keep. I really appreciated the vibrant colors you chose to use in your mother series. I also found the prehistoric series quite wonderful. However, my personal favorites were:The Time & The Faith- Mixed mediathis above painting was so fascinating and spiritual as well as having symbolism gallore! Alll positives in my opinion! :) I liked the somewhat gothic tone of the Red painting.
