Your still lifes (lives?) are contemporary and new even though I have seen plenty of them in art history books. Yet, the painters of centuries ago would surely think they are contemporary, too. I'm afraid, this is what most artists, art theories, art teachings and art movements cannot grapple with. GOOD WORK!
