Artist Statement:
Michel Pedneault travail et
vit à Montréal. Peintre
autodidacte se dédiait plustot
à la sculpture. Au début des
années 80, à la suite d’un
séjour de trois ans en
Angleterre, s’implique dans la
promotion de la musique
nouvelle. Rencontre Francois
Gourd, Les Foufounes
Électriques, création de
l’évenement Peinture en
direct, suivit de la formation
du groupe d’intervention
picturale PDG, pour Pedneault,
Desautels et Gaudreau.
Participe à divers évenements
et expositions ici et
ailleurs: New York,
Bruxelles, Paris, et St.
Georges de Beauce.
Pedneault is a
painter/sculptor living and
working in Montreal.
Previously a member of the
infamous PDG and instramental
in the creation and
organization of “Peinture en
Direct’, he exhibits on a
regular basis and has works in
public institutions and
galleries in Qubec and
Belgium.
