Hi Milo, I'm your niece in Minnesota. I have a drawing that you did in 1964. The one I got from you after grandpa died. We have it hanging in our dining room. I was born in 1964 so it is really awesome that that was the same year that you did the drawing! Love ya,Becky

Aloha Milo,It's been almost 30 years since we camped in the chicken coop in the hills above Healdsburg. Looks like you're still painting. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing yet, but I'm trying to enjoy it on Maui in Lahaina. Love to you, Cindy

Mr. Needles,I e-mailed you yesterday but it doesn't look like the e-mail went through, so I am writing to you through the guestbook. In my e-mail I was wanting to know if you were the same Milo Needles who was friends with my brother, Dewey Gallatin, back in the early 1970's. Dewey was traveling to see you and was killed in a car accident on his way to Boise Idaho. I would love to hear from you. I have two of your works of art from the 70's. One is hanging in my family room. It has been 30 years since Dewey died and I still miss him very much. We were very close. The art that he did seems as though it was influenced by your work in the 70's. I only have a book that he did pen and inks in and some black and white photography but they are really great! Please write me if you are the same Milo. Sincerely, Lisa McCracken - lcmccracken@wpa.net

Write Dewey's sister as soon as you can. Looks like your demons are still active as hell. Thought you might have found yourself by now, but can see you're art is still possessed. Can't believe you're still alive.

Milo, if you don't get this message you ought too. great new work. very surreal, love to see some originals someday, and that might happen sometime. large format too. damn it looks better the more i lookat it. I have to figure some of the symbolism, if that's what it is. sell'em all

What do you think of New Orleans now? Looks like we did the right thing by getting out of there when we could. Of course, our apartment is under the water, as is my grandfather Hebert grave. I bet all the artwork that also got out is very valuable now. Keep on keeping on and staying young.

Milo:
I'm your cousin on my grandmother's side, Genevieve (Needles) Thierer. You'll remember my mom, Margy. I've enjoyed your work over the past few years and I can see an inner chaotic theme that seems to run in our family. Since Mom died, I've been trying to locate some of the cousins. Can you give me a good contact for Boise? My sister Stephanie lives there and that's where my husband and I want to retire.
Thanks,
Michelle

Hey!
Not really surprised to see your collection. Hope it's doing well for you. Reminds me of the sketches you did for us kids on a steno pad with a felt tip marker. Remember those days?

Hello Milo, It is great that you are doing so well. I have heard over the years that you are true artist and now I can see it for myself. I will not Pretend I understand it all or like it all, but you did tell me many years ago that what is art is in the eye of the beholder. I wish you much more success. Hope to see you at the reunion.

Hi Milo:
You jumped into my thoughts this morning and I wondered if you were still alive as so many are now gone. Glad to see that you are and still working. Funny how the eyes never change, do they! by the way, I wanted to thank you for the picture you took of Bob right before he died. I was able later on to pass that on to the son he never knew. I am living in Portland now - finally escaped from Boise! It is good to be able to say Hello!
