Artist Statement:
Rachelle is an artist that
lives on the South Shore of
Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She
has a background in Fashion
Design, and grew up surrounded
by art. Rug hooking came
naturally. It allows her to
express herself artistically
and to create beautiful
impressionistic images with
textures and colors that can
only be created through rug
hooking.
Her rugs are all
one-of-a-kind, made with 100%
high quality wool cloth that
she hand dyes to create
movement and depth.
Each rug tells a story, a
moment captured in time,
life's simple pleasures and
beautiful colors that
surrounds us all.
