It's been interesting to note the addition of more colour to his works since the restoration of the Sistine Chapel ceiling (even though he maintained that he was against it).Let's see more!!

I enjoy your work. It is somewhat uncanny that we are both looking at a number of the same artists: Schiele, Duvaneck, Rivers, Modigliani, Cezanne, Rubens, etc. At this moment I am especially looking at Rubens, Raphael (the drawings), Duvaneck, Schiele and other Austrian/German expressionists (Klimt, etc.). Keep up the good work!

Jerry - I love your work! I came upon it when I received an e-mail from absolutearts.com with the subject title: Top Artists for under $500. I deeply admire the spontaneity, energy, color and loose brushwork. FANTASTIC! I am a painter also and a big fan of Italy. I studied at L'universita di Siena and at L'istituto statale d'arte di Duccio di Buoninsegna from 1969 to 1970 and have been traveling throughout Italy on and off for years since. In 2004, I ran a watermedia workshop at a villa just south of Florence near San Giovanni Valdarno.I am so enamored by your beach scenes. They remind me so much of my experience at Gabicce Mare on the Adriatic coast. And I am in awe of your portraits.
