Hi Russell, I think I get what you are trying to achieve in your work. Yet when I enlarge your works on my computer I can still see signs of brush strokes. Are you looking for a more finished surface? One that will fool the eye of the veiwer. I too am a painter on this site. My approach and work varies greatly since my main concern IS the SURFACE and how the art loving public is impacted by that experience. Keep on painting and you will achieve.
