Artist Statement:
I have been working with steel
for about 12 years. Most of my
work is made with 1/4 inch
thick steel. Hand cut with an
oxygen acetylene torch. I
finish the piece by heating
the steel to bring out the
natural color. The piece is
then completed with a clear
coating to seal and give it
shine. I have a huge
assortment of styles and
designs. Furniture, stair
rails, shadow casters, book
ends, business card holders,
window grates, wroght iron
railings and more. One of my
favorite things to create is
wildlife. I have a great deal
of respect for mother nature,
it really is true beauty if
you have the eye to see it.
That is what I hope to capture
throuht my art when I am
putting the scenes together.
