Artist Statement:
My paintings are an extension
of my soul, therefore I have
put as much detail in as
possible. My techniques are
acquired with various tools,
even my hands when need be.
The paints have a way of
speaking to me and serve as my
guide. Self taught, my art
has been evolving over the
last 25 years. I find as I
grow, so does my art.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your work. I love the fibrous, almost woven feel of the work. A real inter-connectedness feeling to your paintings. Keep up the good work.
As for the self taught aspect, I believe that to be a good thing. It means you haven't been run thru the potato ricer school of art--having all creativity and individuality stripped from you and homogenized in the sameness of everyone else. It makes your work stand out in a good way.
