Artist Statement:
Ty Smith is a native of
Montgomery, Alabama. He was
graduated from the University
of Alabama in 2001 with a
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.
While working on his
undergraduate degree, Smith
studied with Dr. Alvin C.
Sella and concentrated on
drawing and painting. He now
resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma
where he is a MFA candidate at
The University of Tulsa.
