In Mien, I felt a deep longing, contemplation and sadness. Perhaps, the heroine is searching for her soulmate and lover, and has yet to find him. Despite feeling discouraged, though, she will persevere until such time, as he finds her. Vera N.Held

In It is Up to Us Only, although the heroine appears forlorn,equally, she is simultaneously open to new possibilities. This dichotomy suggests that she will not too easily relinquish her dreams and/or goals, whatever they may be.
