Janet Shagam (Kiel) Will! How the hell ARE you? It is wonderful to see you and your work. Looking up old friends, and voila - there you are.
Russell Bentley William, you have some very nice work posted, I lean toward realism more than abstract, I really like all of the stump paintings, Lake Shore Repose, and Old Box Cars, great work! keep it going!
Kim Albrecht William,I am also a member of absolutearts.com and I saw that you wanted some feedback on your work. I think you have a strong sense of continuity in your work. The themes of nature and philosophy/spirituality are seen in both your realism and your abstraction. You do a good job of capturing the feel of the Colorado landscape, I just recently moved from Fort Collins. I was particularly drawn to Shadow Thinking, Tiger Lilly, and Piedria River 1-3. In Shadow Thinking and Tiger Lilly I loved your use of color. Those stuck out to me because you used both warm and cool colors strongly. It would be great to hear a critique on my work @ absolutearts.com/kimalbrecht/. Good work, Kim Albrecht
andree lisette herz I thought your work was very powerful when I first saw it. The color, shapes and great movement all caught my eye.
Susan Schraft William--I went to your site and saw a consistancy in your later works that I liked--Especilly FAll Meloncholy --Zygote Dream and The Path--Your selection of colors are bold in your abstracts that catch my attention.Your landscaopes are good --but aren't as striking nor as creative-as your abstracts.Keep the paintbrush moving!Nice work--Susan Schraft
Lynda Cookson 'To Dance' and 'Melon Needs Company' - those two jumped out at me William, although I really enjoy all your abstract works. They're interesting, intriguing and each one unique in the collection. Each one has substance to it - don't give up those abstracts! I am also an Absolute Arts Premiere Artist and you can also find me on www.lyndacookson.com or my Paintings on Impulse blog on blogger. I will happily sign up to your mailing list and look forward to keeping in touch. All the very best for 2007! Lynda Cookson (Connemara, Ireland)
